Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated September 22, 2026
This policy explains what information SoloJade collects when you use our apps and this website, why, and the choices you have. It applies to every SoloJade app unless an app’s own page says otherwise.
The short version
- We collect only what an app needs to work, such as your email address and the content you create.
- We never sell your personal information.
- We never use the content you put in our apps (for example, budget entries) to target ads, and never share it with advertisers.
- This website uses no cookies, analytics or trackers.
- You can export your data and delete your account at any time.
1. Who we are
SoloJade (“SoloJade”, “we”, “us”) is an independent developer of mobile and web apps. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your email address, an optional display name, and your password. Passwords are stored only as a secure one-way hash; we can’t read them.
- Content you create — the information you enter in an app so it can do its job, such as the accounts, balances, recurring items and transactions you add to Adelante. We store it so it can sync between your devices.
- Messages — what you send us when you email support.
Information collected automatically
- Technical information — IP address, device and browser type, app version and the time of requests. We use it to keep the service secure (for example, limiting repeated sign-in attempts), prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- Diagnostics — if an app crashes or hits an error, we may receive a report describing the error and your device type. These reports are set up to exclude the content you’ve entered.
- Feature usage — some apps may record which features are used (for example, “a recurring item was added”) so we can improve them. These events never include your content, such as amounts, names or notes, and are not used for advertising.
- Advertising identifiers — only in free versions of apps that show ads; see Advertising.
Purchases
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple, Google or our web payment provider. We receive confirmation of what you bought and whether your subscription is active. We never receive or store your full card details.
We don’t connect to your bank, and we don’t ask for bank or card login details.
3. How we use information
- To provide our apps: signing you in, saving your content and syncing it across your devices.
- To provide paid features and manage subscriptions.
- To keep our services secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To respond to your messages and provide support.
- To understand which features are used, and to fix and improve our apps.
- To show ads in free versions of apps, as described below.
- To send essential service emails, such as password resets or important changes. We won’t send marketing email without your consent.
- To comply with the law.
If you’re in the European Economic Area or the UK, our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (running the app you signed up for); our legitimate interests (security, fixing and improving our apps); your consent (personalized ads, optional analytics); and legal obligations.
4. Advertising
Free versions of some SoloJade apps may show ads to help keep them free. Paid versions don’t show ads. Our websites don’t show ads.
- What we never share: the content you create in our apps. Ads are chosen without it — for example, nothing about your balances or transactions is ever passed to an ad network.
- Ad partners: we use Google (AdMob in our mobile apps, and AdSense on the web). Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies or device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior use of our apps and other websites and apps. Google’s use of advertising cookies and identifiers enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on that activity. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
- Your choices:
- Opt out of personalized advertising from Google in My Ad Center.
- Opt out of personalized ads from other participating vendors at aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu.
- On iPhone and iPad, we ask for permission before any tracking; you can decline or change it later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- On Android, you can delete or reset your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads. If you don’t consent, you may still see non-personalized ads.
5. When we share information
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run our apps — for example hosting, databases, email delivery, crash reporting and payments. They may use it only to provide those services to us.
- With app stores and payment providers to process purchases and subscriptions.
- With ad partners, limited to device and advertising identifiers in free versions of apps that show ads, as described above. Some U.S. state laws treat personalized advertising as “sharing”; you can opt out using the choices in the Advertising section.
- For legal reasons — if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or SoloJade.
- In a business transfer — if SoloJade or an app is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner, who must honor this policy.
6. Cookies and on-device storage
This website (solojade.com) uses no cookies, analytics or tracking scripts.
Our apps use a sign-in cookie or token to keep you signed in, and store a copy of your data on your device so the app opens instantly and works offline. Signing out removes your data from that device. Ad partners may use cookies or identifiers in free versions of apps, as described in Advertising.
7. How long we keep information
- Account and content: for as long as you have an account. When you delete it, we delete your account and content promptly, and they’re removed from our backups as those expire, within 35 days.
- Security and server logs: kept for a short period, then deleted automatically.
- Support emails: kept as long as needed to help you, then deleted.
- Purchase records: kept as long as tax and accounting laws require.
8. Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password. If a breach affected your personal information, we would notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires. To report a security issue, email [email protected].
9. Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Access or export the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct information that’s wrong;
- Delete your account and data — see Delete your account;
- Object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent you’ve given (for example, to personalized ads).
You can do much of this in the apps themselves. Otherwise, email [email protected] from the address on your account; we’ll respond within 30 days, and may need to confirm it’s you. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.
California and other U.S. states: you have the rights above, including to know what we collect and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We don’t sell personal information; for personalized ads, use the choices in Advertising. You may use an authorized agent.
EEA and UK: you also have the right to data portability and to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Children
Our apps are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK), and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
11. Where information is processed
We’re based in the United States, and our servers and service providers may be in the United States or other countries. When we transfer personal information from the EEA or UK, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our apps change. We’ll update the date at the top, and for significant changes we’ll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.
13. Contact us
